Job Overview:

The Senior Scientist, LCMS Bioanalysis will serve as a key scientific contributor within our regulated bioanalytical team in Exton, PA. This individual will lead method development, validation, and sample analysis activities supporting DMPK, regulated bioanalytical, and CGT programs.

Additional tasks:

  • Lead development, optimization, and validation of LC-MS/MS assays for small molecules and metabolites in biological matrices including plasma, serum, and tissue
  • Execute GLP-compliant HPLC and LC-MS studies supporting regulated bioanalytical programs
  • Design scientifically sound study plans aligned with sponsor and internal objectives
  • Author and review study protocols, validation plans, and technical summary reports
  • Perform data processing, data review, and ensure integrity of analytical results
  • Troubleshoot analytical challenges including sensitivity, selectivity, recovery, and matrix effects
  • Support regulatory readiness and inspection activities as needed
  • Serve as Study Director (SD) and Principal Investigator (PI) in areas of expertise
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with DMPK scientists, project management, QA, and commercial teams
  • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or a related analytical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of development or GLP bioanalytical testing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of (U)HPLC-MS experience (Sciex or Waters experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with additional analytical platforms, such as HPLC with conventional detection methods, is preferred.
  • Excellent technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience mentoring junior scientists or leading project teams is highly desirable.
