Using a consultative approach to selling, you will leverage your expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with new customers.
In this role, you will actively seek out and engage with new and prospective accounts in need of cutting-edge solutions. Your focus will be on multi-cloud managed services, private & public cloud hosting and transformation, and SAP hosting and transformation, particularly within manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for achieving sales and revenue growth targets through consistent selling activities, meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. Success in this role requires autonomy and the ability to approach sales as a consultant and trusted advisor.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Generate sales revenue with new accounts by actively promoting our portfolio.
- Set daily priority tasks for effective prospecting and outreach.
- Develop a point of view on how to qualify customers' needs.
- Manage a high volume of engagements with a strategic approach to lead prioritization.
- Maintain records of customer activities for sales and forecast reporting.
- Provide accurate and timely information to management, including sales forecasts.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue objectives.
- Work collaboratively as a team member while performing independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years of relevant work experience in direct sales for new customers with a proven record of achieving goals.
- Experience in IT services, cloud computing, and/or SAP is desirable.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work with responsiveness.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; effective with diverse personalities; team player.
- Ability to travel as needed for customers and/or events.
