We are looking to bring on another Wholesale Sales Executive who has at least 4 years of sales experience within fashion, merchandising, and apparel. This person would need to be comfortable selling to department stores, national chain stores, and specialty retailers.

We are in need of a Senior Sales Executive to join our showroom in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our company's market share with department stores, national chain stores, and specialty retailers. This role will involve overseeing all aspects of sales operations, from lead generation to closing deals, and will require a deep understanding of the wholesale clothing and jewelry market. The Senior Sales Executive will work closely with our marketing and product development teams to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and stay ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or market segment.
2. Identify and target potential new customers, understand their needs, and convert them into active clients.
3. Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
4. Forecast sales, revenue, and budget goals and report on progress towards these goals.
5. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and key issues.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative sales strategies and tools.
7. Maintain a deep knowledge of our products and services and communicate their benefits to customers.
8. Negotiate and close contracts with key clients.
9. Train and mentor junior sales staff and lead by example.
10. Promote a high-performance sales culture within the team, setting clear expectations and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of success in senior sales roles, preferably within the wholesale apparel industry.
2. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in wholesale clothing, jewelry, footwear, or something similar.
3. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
4. Strong understanding of customer needs and market dynamics within the wholesale apparel industry.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
6. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales performance data and market research.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key clients.
8. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
10. Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
