Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Technician (SQT) to ensure product quality and support engineering. This role involves inspections, problem-solving, and maintaining compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts.
- Read and interpret drawings, specs, and standards.
- Document results, nonconformances, and trends.
- Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support audits and ISO compliance.
- Maintain calibration and testing records.
- Work with production and engineering to resolve issues.
- Contribute to process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3–5 years in quality inspection/control, manufacturing preferred.
- Skilled with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs).
- Knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and specs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- MS Office proficiency; ERP/QMS experience a plus.
Preferred
- ASQ CQT, CQI, or Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience with Hexagon PC-DMIS programming.
- Experience with First Article/PPAP documentation.
