Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage all aspects of the general ledger for a portfolio of commercial properties, including monthly closings, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
CAM Reconciliations: Lead the annual CAM, Tax, and Insurance reconciliation process. Analyze lease language to ensure accurate recovery of operating expenses.
Yardi Mastery: Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Yardi Voyager. Maintain the integrity of the database and optimize Yardi modules for commercial billing.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages for property owners, including variance analysis.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with Property Managers to develop annual operating budgets and mid-year re-forecasts.
Audit & Tax Support: Interface with outside CPA firms for year-end audits and tax preparation.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in Commercial Property Accounting (Office, Retail, or Industrial).
Software: Advanced proficiency in Yardi Voyager (required).
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of CAM/OPEX recovery structures (Triple Net, Full Service, Modified Gross).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or CPA-candidate status is a significant plus.
Location: Must be local to Tucson or willing to relocate for this 100% onsite position.
