Hybrid Working Style (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

We are hiring for our client—an innovative, people-centered design firm that empowers teams to do their best work through a culture built on collaboration, curiosity, mentorship, and technical excellence. They are seeking a Senior Project Technical Designer to play a critical leadership role in driving documentation quality, technical coordination, and construction administration across complex interior architecture projects.

As a Senior Project Technical Designer, you will lead the production of construction documents, guide consultant coordination, and oversee construction administration for a diverse range of commercial interior projects. You will act as a trusted technical advisor—bringing clarity, foresight, and judgment to every phase of a project.
You will mentor junior designers, ensure documentation excellence, and serve as the team’s building code and accessibility expert. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, coordination, technical rigor, and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a CIDA- or NCARB-accredited program.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in architecture or interior design.
  • Registered Interior Designer or actively pursuing registration (must be registered within one year).
  • Engagement in professional organizations such as IIDA or AIA.
  • Expert knowledge of parametric modeling, visualization, and graphic and office software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a professional work ethic.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid studio environment—minimum 3 days in office.
  • A collaborative team player who builds positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Highly organized, research-driven, and motivated to expand your own technical and industry expertise.
  • Desire to stay active within the design community and participate in networking events.
