Senior Project Manager - Workday

- Facilitate project chartering, drive alignment and set expectations
- Define, baseline, maintain and communication schedules
- Create and manage cost budgets and estimates, and track and communicate actuals on a defined cadence
- Proactively drive identification and assessment of risks; Drive appropriate risk responses and ensure closure
- Support teams to resolve issues with urgency and quality
- Develop and execute an effective change control process
- Establish a project governance structure appropriate for project size
- Teach, advocate and coach others on the use and benefit of project management competencies and skillsets
- Optimize the framework and tools by providing continuous improvement
- Ensure readiness, sustainability and value realization metrics are in place
- Have a defined resource plan with clear roles and responsibilities
- Manage vendor and third-party partners
- Ensure project status updates are clear, concise, timely and accurate
- Facilitate and lead effective meetings; Create and deliver effective written and verbal communication
- Perform conflict resolution and negotiation in a professional manner
Requirements:
- B.S. or equivalent degree in Business Management, Business Administration or related field
- PMP and Agile certifications highly preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in progressive project experience in large, more complex initiatives in large highly matrixed organizations or through management consulting practices
- Sound experience in delivery of initiatives leveraging multiple delivery practices & tools
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with portfolio management tools such as Smartsheet & Jira
- Strong understanding of multiple project delivery frameworks and methodologies including but not limited to Waterfall, Scrum, & Kanban
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
