Contract Details:
- Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple simultaneous Corporate Security technology projects from inception to completion. Projects may include software applications, hardware deployments, and field work related to physical security systems.
The Senior Project Manager is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple simultaneous Corporate Security technology projects from inception to completion. Projects may include software applications, hardware deployments, and field work related to physical security systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning
- Lead planning activities to initiate projects with proper scope definition
- Anticipate and plan appropriate resources and schedules
- Set up projects in Planisware or CSD Intake/Execution Tools ensuring stages, gates, deliverables, and activities are clearly defined
Project Execution
- Develop and actively manage assigned project(s) ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, financial requirements, and quality metrics
- Write/create statements of work (SOW) for vendors and subcontractors
- Develop requirements documents, test plans, and other technical deliverables
- Conduct clear, concise technical meetings and weekly status meetings; publish meeting notes and action items within 1 business day
- Ensure all deliverables and documentation are routed and filed in a timely manner
- Communicate expectations and status updates to teams, managers, and stakeholders
- Delegate tasks appropriately to project team members
- Build and maintain relationships critical to project success
- Utilize tools such as Planisware, Ariba, SAP, Forecasts, Jira, and structured processes (status meetings, WORs, DORs)
- Proactively manage scope changes, identify risks, and develop contingency plans
- Manage financial aspects of the project
- Conduct site walk-downs or visit installation sites when required
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
Project Closeout
- Conduct post-mortems and capture lessons learned for future adoption
- Ensure proper project closure documentation
Required Experience:
- BS in a related field (Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- PMP certification or minimum of 6 years relevant work experience
- Strong project management experience in technology environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to elicit cooperation from management, stakeholders, and clients
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative team environments
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience in field work related to Physical Security systems (Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance)
- Experience with application development, deployment, or product management within the physical security domain
Required Skills:
- Scope, schedule, and budget management
- Risk management and contingency planning
- Vendor management and SOW creation
Preferred Skills:
- Planisware, SAP, Ariba, Jira proficiency
- Physical security systems knowledge
- Post-project analysis and continuous improvement practices
Additional Skills:
- Conducting research into project-related issues and products
- Multitasking and attention to detail
- Travel may be required with prior client approval; reimbursement available for approved travel beyond home-work location
- Candidate must provide personal laptop until company equipment is available
- For home office, candidate must provide own equipment or vendor will provide
