Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Project Manager (Contract) to provide day-to-day project coordination and project management support for the Electric AMI 2.0 Program.
This role is execution-focused and support-oriented, responsible for maintaining project administration, tracking actions, coordinating meetings, capturing key notes and meeting minutes, and supporting routine reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project trackers, logs, and spreadsheets (plans, actions, risks, issues, dependencies)
- Capture detailed meeting minutes, notes, decisions, and action items
- Assign, track, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate and schedule recurring and ad hoc project meetings and working sessions
- Maintain tactical implementation plans and catch-back plans and produce routine reporting
- Compile inputs for project-level dashboards, summaries, presentations, costs, and benefits
- Organize and maintain project documentation in SharePoint or similar tools
- Maintain records, information, and data aligned with company standards
- Provide general administrative support to Electric AMI 2.0 project team
- Support other small projects and initiatives as needed
Required Experience
- BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in project coordination or project management support role
- Demonstrated experience supporting large, cross-functional programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and related tools
- Ability to clearly document discussions, decisions, and follow-ups
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience supporting utility, infrastructure, or field operations programs
- Exposure to AMI, metering, or electric utility environments
- Familiarity with related systems and processes
- Experience using SharePoint, MS Product Suite, and Power BI
- Comfortable working in a structured, highly regulated environment
- PM certification
