Our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing commercial general contractor and design‑build firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship $40M ground‑up project. This is a pivotal role with direct executive visibility and a defined advancement path into a Director‑level position.

Description

Project Leadership

  • Serve as the primary leader for a $40M major construction project, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through closeout.
  • Lead all project-specific meetings and ensure alignment among internal teams, subcontractors, owners, architects, and consultants.


Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and manage high-performing project teams, promoting collaboration and accountability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners and partners, serving as the main point of contact for all project communication.
  • Mentor junior project managers, engineers, and site staff as the team continues to scale.


Financial & Operational Execution

  • Oversee project budget, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure procurement, contracting, and scheduling align with project milestones.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop strategies to maintain project controls and delivery excellence.


Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce strict safety standards and site compliance practices.
  • Ensure adherence to company processes, client specifications, and industry regulations.
  • Drive quality assurance efforts and resolve field issues swiftly and effectively.

Profile

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
  • Proven track record delivering projects of $20M+, with preference for candidates who have managed $40M or larger programs.
  • Strong background in general contracting, design‑build, or construction management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor growing teams and contribute to organizational scaling.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

Job Offer
