Job Details
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee ground-up construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven record of delivering complex commercial builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of ground-up construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, execution, and close-out.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including superintendents, project engineers, and support staff.
- Oversee project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, contract requirements, and company procedures.
- Drive clear communication, accountability, and collaboration across all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 6–10+ years of commercial construction experience, with a strong focus on ground-up projects.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction project management software and tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and ethical construction practices.
