Role Summary

Leads the development of the Project Management Plan, governance framework, portfolio structure, and infrastructure project planning for the corrections Division. Serves as the primary technical authority and ensures all deliverables meet State requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Division Project Management Plan
  • Establish project governance and portfolio framework
  • Create resource-loaded schedules and project charters
  • Facilitate infrastructure maturity planning
  • Conduct project management maturity assessment
  • Adapt and implement a tailored PM methodology
  • Recommend project management tools and systems
  • Provide oversight of deliverables and quality control

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Experience establishing or leading a PMO
  • Experience in public sector or government environments
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management and governance models

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent
  • Lean, Agile, or hybrid PM certifications
