REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

Education: A Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 8 years of practical experience. Bachelor's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or a related area and 10 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. An Associate's degree and 13 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 17 years of relevant experience would also be considered equivalent.

 

Experience/Skills: Possesses strong personal computer skills. Requires expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting, cost management, scheduling and estimating systems as tools for performing required duties. Possesses considerable practical experience in the use of the Site Business systems

Additional Duties 

- Provide services for Project Control, Change Management, and Scheduling to support the SRPPF project's mission, as undertaken by Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), LLC. The primary objective of these efforts is to deliver assistance and support to SRNS by evaluating various project scopes, costs, schedules, and management plans. Additionally, these services include developing procedural and process support for project integration while interfacing with engineering and procurement functions.

- Expert advice in highly specialized area of organization management and/or project management; Specifically, Project, Document, Cost Control, and Planning & Scheduling experience to provide Change Management support.


  • Provide guidance to management on classification requirements and compliance and on the CD process and deliverable format.


  • Review and provide input to specifications for engineered equipment and/or subcontracts.


  • Review and provide input to estimators on resources (labor and other-than-labor) needed to perform the scope of work.


  • Provide input to schedulers on sequence, durations, and logic of activities.


  • Provide input to management regarding risk-informed schedules to serve as the basis for establishing milestones and PBIs.


  • Provide input to engineers, estimators, and schedulers on constructability, maintainability, operability, and commissioning.


  • Provide input to technical writers for BOEs, BOS, and WBS data dictionary.



 

Additional Education 

-
Two-year degree. Candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience applicable to special needs of the task or highly specialized training directly applicable to task area.


Additional Experience Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management. (Required)
  • Five years of experience demonstrating knowledge of desired area of subject matter expertise.

  • Reviews work for completeness as required by project specifications and scope definitions.

  • Candidate must have strong problem solving, analysis and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. (Required)
