In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with engineers and design teams to create sophisticated 3D models and construction drawings for industrial manufacturing sites. This position entails an in-depth knowledge of project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, as well as adherence to industry standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess line counts and predict isometric quantities using P&IDs.
- Comprehend and apply both client and project-specific procedures and standards.
- Manage timelines through a proactive 'Needs List' to ensure resource efficiency.
- Employ 3D modeling applications like AVEVA E3D and Navisworks to ensure design integrity and track progress.
- Evaluate and authorize all design deliverables.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to drive cohesive design efforts.
- Utilize extensive field and office expertise to verify piping drawings, integrating insights directly into models.
- Engage in creating intricate plant layouts while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Facilitate field walkdowns with P&IDs to identify and route piping, and transcribe real-world data back into digital models.
Desired Capabilities:
- Demonstrate autonomy in problem-solving, significantly contributing to financial and strategic company goals through technical client interactions.
Preferred Experience:
- Extensive experience with E3D/PDMS, AutoCAD, and Navisworks applications is required.
- An Associate's degree coupled with a minimum of 8 years in the EPC industry.
- A proven track record in managing challenging budgets and timelines.
