Position Summary:
The Senior PEO & ASO Sales Consultant is responsible for driving new client acquisitions by consulting mid-sized business owners on tailored workforce solutions. This role owns the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and relationship development through close and onboarding—while building long-term partnerships that expand Pinnacle Employee Services’ client base, revenue, and market presence. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach, strong referral relationships, and the ability to operate independently within assigned markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue
- Achieve and exceed assigned new client, worksite employee, and revenue goals.
- Lead a consultative selling process to recommend appropriate PEO or ASO solutions.
- Accurately develop and present proposals aligned with each client’s business needs.
Prospecting & Relationships
- Consistently prospect within defined target markets and ideal client profiles (ICP).
- Build and maintain strong centers of influence, including brokers, accountants, bankers, and community partners.
- Generate referrals through networking, client relationships, and internal collaboration.
Collaboration & Client Experience
Partner closely with internal service teams to support successful onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal Pinnacle brands to cross-refer opportunities and expand client value.
- Respond promptly and professionally to clients, partners, and referral sources.
Process & Professional Development
- Maintain accurate and timely activity, pipeline, and forecast data in the CRM.
- Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and competitive market learning.
- Submit expense reports and required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful PEO and/or ASO sales experience
- Proven ability to sell consultatively to mid-sized businesses
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of formal education
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation The anticipated compensation range for this role is $150,000+, consisting of base salary plus target first-year commissions. Additional accelerators and incentives may apply. Total compensation is based on factors including location, experience, and performance.
