Senior Operations Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for a large distribution center in Wichita, KS! This individual will work cross-functionally with other aspects of the company to efficiently manage inventory flow. They will be responsible for all day-to-day operational activities within the facility. This person will have extensive experience with transportation and distribution flow. The functions and qualifications of the job are listed below (other requirements may arise on an as needed basis):

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Regional Director to develop a plan to effectively manage material and equipment flow, transportation costs, service levels and inventory
• Work closely with all Senior Supply Chain Managers at each site to ensure efficient delivery of products to each retail store Implement warehouse and transportation initiatives; supports these initiatives alongside the Regional Director and All Senior Supply Chain Managers
• Supervise all Distribution Center Employees
• Establish day-to-day operational guidelines for maximum effectiveness and efficiency
• Resolve any issues with day-to-day Distribution Center activities
• Provide fiscal reports regarding needs of all Facility departments (capital budgeting)
• Create a timeline comparing the current financial status of the company in conjunction with those in previous years
• Build relationships with all employees and division leaders
• Adhere to all Retailer needs to uphold the company’s image and credibility
• Provide all direct reports with constructive criticism and all feedback on an ongoing basis
• Train and supervise employees to increase performance potential Ability to perform all functions of the position with or without added assistance
• Manage all Supply Chain initiatives in order to cut costs and increase productivity
• Have an all-encompassing knowledge of the entire organization and all functions within the company
• Drive results by developing, monitoring, and reporting key performance indicators for success within all aspects of Distribution activities
• Work closely with the Regional Director and provide an in depth analysis on status of Distribution progress
• Uphold safety standards to ensure a healthy work environment Work effectively in an equal opportunity environment with a diverse work force

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
• MUST have a solid ecommerce or fulfillment experience
• 5+ years in a high speed, high volume distribution center
• Experience with Continuous Improvement
• Cross-Functional Team Leadership
• Experience Unparalleled Communication and Analytical Skills
• Experience working in a diverse team environment
