Job Details / Responsibilities:
Serve as a lead-level analyst, acting as preceptor, mentor, and resource to junior staff members
Support the monthly financial close process, including data accuracy validation, trend modeling, variance research, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations
Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for management decision-making
Contribute to the development and refinement of accounting reserve methodologies
Prepare schedules and reports for external financial reporting, including support for auditors
Develop and maintain Managed Care contract performance trending reports
Analyze relationships and dependencies across the revenue cycle and various reimbursement sources impacting net revenue performance
Liaise with cross-functional departments and finance executives on net revenue matters
Participate in cross-departmental projects and net revenue software implementations
Stay current on government and commercial reimbursement changes, regulations, and industry best practices
Actively engage in the Crowe RCA user community
Promote personal and team professional growth through continuing education and competency development
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in net revenue analysis within healthcare
Direct, hands-on experience with Kodiak (Crowe) RCA — non-negotiable requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
Revenue accounting knowledge and experience with net revenue and reimbursement structures from commercial and government payors
Strong analytical skills with the ability to discern trends and provide insightful observations
Experience retrieving and analyzing data from systems such as Excel, Lawson, EPSI, and Crowe RCA
Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
CPA certification preferred
