Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include:
- Minimum of 10 years of HVAC design experience in institutional buildings (K-12, hospitals, etc.)
- Proficiency in EnergyPro, Bluebeam, Revit, and AutoCAD is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Travel to California-based project sites once every two weeks
- Lead a team of 2-3 junior/mid-level engineers and monitor project team performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architectural, civil, plumbing, and electrical teams
- Oversee full HVAC design lifecycle including planning, analysis, drawing production, and quality control
- Ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to client specifications
Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
