Senior Marketing Consultant
Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Senior Marketing Consultant for a contract position in San Rafael, CA(Hybrid). The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Work closely with brand team members to develop and develop and roll out promotional materials (e.g., panels, leave-behinds, rep-triggered emails) to support branded and/or unbranded campaigns
- Partner with brand team members to provide operational support for key brand-related activities, including speaker programs, advisory boards, conferences and sales meetings
- Work with agency partners and guide the development of key marketing materials
- Partner with the team to develop and shape initiatives which could help generate brand demand
- Financial stewardship: Budgeting, managing the contracting, accrual and reconciliation process, etc.
- This position may require travel, such as attending various brand related events including key conferences, training events, and speaker events. The marketing team is based on the San Rafael campus (hybrid); however, marketing consultants who wish to work remotely will be considered
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree (master's or higher) preferred
- 4+ years experience in U.S. biotech / pharma marketing. Experience with the following programs and systems preferred: Veeva PromoMats, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, MS Teams.
- Understanding of U.S. regulatory environment to support the development of marketing materials and deliver key brand-related initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Pharma/biotech in-house marketing experience
- Project management experience
- Vendor/agency management experience
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to optimize messages and claims in collaboration with the promotional review team (medical, regulatory, legal)
Preferred:
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas; rare-disease experience a plus
- Prior pharma sales experience a plus
