Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Treasury
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Financial Reporting & Treasury to join a fast‑growing national financial services organization. This role offers high visibility, significant leadership opportunity, and broad exposure across financial reporting, technical accounting, treasury operations, investor relations, and M&A activity.
Reporting directly to a Senior Director, you will oversee a senior team member and collaborate with partners across the Finance and Accounting functions. This position is based in Chicago, with an in‑office schedule of 4 days per week.

What You’ll Lead
- Full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual external and internal financial reporting cycle
- Preparation and delivery of SEC‑style quarterly reporting for investors and debtholders
- Development of quarterly lender and ratings agency presentations
- Oversight of regulatory financial reporting requirements
- Support for M&A transactions, from LOI through post‑close accounting
- Establishment and enhancement of technical accounting processes, including selective co‑sourcing models
- Collaboration with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate application of technical accounting guidance
- Full ownership of treasury operations, including daily cash management, controls, and banking activities
- Cash forecasting, capital structure reporting, and debt compliance
- Management of the annual external audit process
- Delivery of financial insights, reporting, and updates to executive leadership
What You Bring
- 8+ years of financial reporting experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Public accounting experience required
- Experience within a PE‑backed environment preferred
- CPA certification required
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements
- Experience preparing SEC filings (10-K/10-Q) or comparable investor reporting
- Proficiency with major reporting and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Smart View, Workiva)
- Exceptional analytical capability, precision, and problem‑solving skills
