Overview:

We’re looking for bold, entrepreneurial talent ready to help build something extraordinary — and reshape the future of building products distribution.

QXO is a publicly traded company founded by Brad Jacobs with the goal of building the market-leading company in the building products distribution industry. On April 30, 2025, QXO completed its first acquisition: Beacon Building Products, a leading distributor in the sector.

We are building a customer-focused, tech-enabled, and innovation-driven business that will scale rapidly through accretive M&A, organic growth, and greenfield expansion. Our strategy is rooted in delivering exceptional customer experiences, improving operational efficiency, and leveraging data, digital tools, and AI to modernize a historically under-digitized industry.

QXO is seeking a Social Media Senior Manager who is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on content creator. This role will shape how QXO shows up across social platforms—building our brand, engaging our audiences, and producing standout content that drives measurable business impact.
You will develop the social strategy, lead channel growth, and own full-stack content creation: concepting, scripting, producing, editing, and publishing.

This is a high-visibility role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving growth environment and loves blending creativity with analytics.

What you will do::
  • Social Strategy & Leadership

    • Develop QXO’s holistic social media strategy across priority platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.).

    • Build annual and quarterly social roadmaps aligned to brand, growth, and business objectives.

    • Establish channel-specific content frameworks, messaging pillars, and audience personas.

    • Identify emerging trends, formats, creators, and platform shifts; proactively recommend experiments and strategy adjustments.

    • Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, Communications, Sales, and Leadership to amplify key narratives.

    Content Creation & Production

    • Ideate, script, storyboard, film, and edit platform-native content (short-form video, social graphics, Reels/TikTok, UGC-style content, thought-leadership clips, etc.).

    • Develop and manage content calendars that balance evergreen messaging, campaigns, and cultural/social moments.

    • Capture behind-the-scenes, product stories, customer stories, and team narratives.

    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content outputs.

    • Work directly with leadership and internal experts to elevate QXO’s thought leadership on social channels.

    Channel Management & Optimization

    • Own daily publishing, scheduling, community management, and real-time engagement.

    • Monitor performance in-platform and through analytics tools; produce insights-driven recommendations for optimization.

    • Implement ongoing A/B testing across formats, hooks, posting patterns, and creative styles.

    • Build and nurture QXO’s social presence—growing reach, engagement, and meaningful interactions.

    Measurement, Insights & Reporting

    • Track KPIs (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversion metrics, share of voice, community sentiment).

    • Provide actionable weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to leadership.

    • Use analytics to shape future content, inform experiments, and refine strategy.

What you will bring::
  • What You’ll Bring

    • 5–7+ years of professional experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or brand; startup or B2B experience a plus.

    • Proven track record of building and scaling social channels with measurable results.

    • Strong ability to concept, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form content using modern tools (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Figma, etc.).

    • Demonstrated creative judgment and understanding of platform-native content.

    • Deep understanding of social trends, algorithms, cultural moments, and storytelling.

    • Exceptional writing skills, editorial instincts, and attention to detail.

    • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high autonomy.

    • Experience working with executives, spokespeople, or creators is a plus.

    • Must be able to sit full-time in our Greenwich, CT headquarters.

    Nice-to-Haves

    • Experience in retail, commerce, supply chain, AI/tech, or SaaS environments.

    • On-camera presence or ability to coach others on camera storytelling.

    • Experience with paid social or social listening tools.

    • Background in photography, video production, or motion design.

What you will earn::
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • PTO, company holidays, and parental leave
  • Paid training and certifications
  • Legal assistance and identity protection
  • Pet insurance
