Key job responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for North American market expansion - Build and lead a high-performing sales organization focused on driving revenue and customer success - Create strategic partnerships with enterprise shippers, freight forwarders, and technology platforms - Establish robust customer engagement frameworks that prioritize long-term relationship development - Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced sales analytics and performance metrics A day in the life Your day will be a dynamic blend of team leadership, strategic planning, relationship building, and delivering customer value. With you leading from the front, your team will collaborate across the wider organization, craft innovative partnership strategies that push the boundaries of traditional logistics, and make Amazon Air Cargo the preferred partner for our customers. Expect to navigate complex negotiations, develop innovative sales approaches, hire develop the sales leaders of the future, and create meaningful impact across our rapidly evolving air cargo eco-system. Basic Qualifications - 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience - Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent - Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent - Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree, or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - Experience in transportation or supply chain within a high-volume logistics, manufacturing or engineering environment - Experience scaling an organization through rapid growth or expansion - Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record - Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge - Experience driving technological and process innovation Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
