Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Lead Developer to support the transition of a custom Harvest Trading Order Management System to Charles River (CRIMS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in buy-side trading applications, vendor integrations, and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development efforts for OMS migration to Charles River (CRIMS SaaS)
• Work on buy-side trading applications and integrate with external vendor systems
• Collaborate with trading desks, portfolio managers, and investment teams for requirement analysis and execution
• Design and develop scalable solutions using modern technologies and cloud platforms
• Handle vendor API integrations (REST, SOAP, SDKs) and FIX protocol connectivity
• Optimize SQL queries, database design, and stored procedures
• Support system enhancements, debugging, and performance tuning
• Participate in client-facing discussions and lead technical meetings

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Charles River OMS (CRIMS) Mandatory
• Experience with buy-side OMS/trading platforms (SaaS-based systems preferred)
• Proficiency in C# and/or Java
• Strong expertise in SQL (query optimization, schema design, stored procedures)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Storage, CI/CD)
• Experience with Vendor API Integration (REST, SOAP, SDKs)
• Strong knowledge of FIX Protocol (4.x/5.x) with debugging experience

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Bloomberg AIM, Aladdin, Eze OMS, or similar platforms

Business & Functional Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of:
  • Trade order lifecycle
  • Portfolio management workflows
  • Pre- and post-trade compliance checks
  • Trade execution and allocation
  • Market data and reference data flows
• Experience working directly with Investment Managers and Trading Desks
