Role Overview
The Senior SAP Project Manager will lead major SAP‑focused technology initiatives, overseeing projects from initial concept through final implementation. This role requires deep expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, strong program leadership, and the ability to drive clarity across complex, multi‑workstream efforts. The position supports both SAP and Data Lake–related programs, ensuring high‑quality execution while maintaining strong alignment with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
The Senior SAP Project Manager will lead major SAP‑focused technology initiatives, overseeing projects from initial concept through final implementation. This role requires deep expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, strong program leadership, and the ability to drive clarity across complex, multi‑workstream efforts. The position supports both SAP and Data Lake–related programs, ensuring high‑quality execution while maintaining strong alignment with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of SAP initiatives, including ECC, S/4HANA, RISE‑related work, and integration with Data Lake platforms
- Define project scope, develop detailed schedules, build resource and cost models, and manage risks, dependencies, and status reporting
- Conduct project meetings, facilitate decision‑making, and proactively remove roadblocks to maintain project momentum
- Oversee cross‑functional workstreams and vendor teams to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of SAP‑related deliverables
- Apply standardized PMO methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement in processes and execution quality
- Partner closely with technical teams to guide analysis, solution design, and implementation activities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, delivering clear updates, insights, and recommendations

SAP & Technical Expertise
- Mandatory hands‑on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA
- Working knowledge of SAP RISE migrations preferred
- Solid understanding of Data Lake architecture; experience with platforms like Databricks or Snowflake is a plus
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
Leadership & Communication
- Assertive, highly confident project leader with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders
- Skilled at driving discussions, leading meetings, and ensuring clarity across teams without being overly forceful
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication capabilities
Additional Skills
- AI project exposure is a plus
- Strong business acumen and experience managing project financials, budgets, and status reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Planview or similar PMO tools preferred
- Ability to operate in a global, matrixed environment and manage ambiguity effectively
