Senior Interior Designer
Location: Dallas, Texas
Overview
Our client, an award-winning architecture and design firm, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to help build and lead a growing Interior Design team in their Dallas office. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a design professional who is passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and delivering thoughtful, high-quality interior environments.
The ideal candidate brings both strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset, with the ability to elevate design standards while helping establish and grow a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of interior design concepts from programming through construction administration
- Collaborate closely with architectural teams, consultants, and clients to ensure integrated project delivery
- Play a key role in building, mentoring, and shaping a new Interior Design team in the Dallas office
- Oversee finish palettes, material selections, furniture specifications, and documentation
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and presentation materials
- Serve as a senior representative in client meetings and presentations
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards
- Contribute to business development efforts and help strengthen client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field
- 10+ years of professional interior design experience
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring junior designers
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction documentation, and industry best practices
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design software
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- NCIDQ certification preferred
