We are seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Attorney to join a collaborative, nationally recognized insurance practice representing domestic and international clients across a broad range of complex coverage matters. This role offers meaningful responsibility, sophisticated work, and a clear path for continued professional growth.
This position involves advising clients on coverage analysis, risk assessment, and litigation strategy across matters including bad faith, professional liability, pollution, construction defect, personal and advertising injury, cyber liability, and excess liability claims. Attorneys will draft and review coverage opinions, reservation-of-rights letters, and declaratory judgment pleadings, manage discovery and motion practice, take and defend depositions, participate in mediations and settlement negotiations, and work closely with trial teams through resolution.

Job Details
Must Haves:
- Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction and good standing
- 5+ years of substantive insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation experience
- Experience handling matters in state and federal courts
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex matters independently
- Experience working directly with insurance carriers, claims professionals, and in-house counsel preferred
