Job Summary:

 

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, data-driven Senior Human Resource Generalist to partner closely with the VP of HR. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who combines strong payroll expertise with advanced analytics, reporting, and process improvement capabilities.

 

As Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for:

  • Partner closely with the VP of HR to independently lead HR projects from concept through implementation.
  • Oversee daily HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, and HR systems management.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational initiatives, and business-aligned HR strategies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee and company information.
  • Process payroll for both exempt and nonexempt employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefit contributions.
  • Administer payroll within ADP Workforce Now (reporting, auditing, system updates).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and independently resolve discrepancies.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboards)
  • Develop executive-level presentations and reporting materials using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Prepare workforce analytics, trend reports, compensation analysis, and executive summaries
  • Support internal audits and compliance documentation
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and engagement initiatives
  • Assist with employee relations documentation and investigations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned for Human Resources

You will need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with direct payroll ownership
  • Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (required)
  • Proven experience processing payroll for exempt and nonexempt employees
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional discretion when handling confidential information
