We are currently seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team. This role will report to our Sr. Creative Director and will be responsible for leading the visual execution of digital, social, and packaging creative assets for a portfolio of personal care brands within a fast-paced consumer packaged goods environment. This role combines strong conceptual thinking with hands-on design and production expertise, supporting brand storytelling across digital channels, e-commerce, social media, video, and product packaging.
The Senior Graphic Designer serves as a visual brand steward, ensuring creative excellence and consistency from initial concept through final execution. This includes developing high-impact digital content, executing production-ready packaging and print materials, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring campaigns and product launches to market. The role requires a digital-first mindset, working knowledge of video and emerging media, and the ability to leverage new tools, including AI-enabled workflows, to enhance creative output and efficiency.
In addition, this position demands close attention to detail in both digital and physical executions, including proofing, color accuracy, and print quality, while remaining attuned to evolving design, social, and content trends. The ideal candidate balances creativity with technical precision, understands the nuances of personal care branding, and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven CPG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Design and Leadership
- Lead the design and execution of high-quality digital assets across multiple personal care brands, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives
- Translate marketing briefs and strategic direction into compelling, consumer-centric creative solutions
- Serve as a visual brand steward, maintaining and evolving digital brand expression across channels
Digital Content Development
- Design digital marketing assets, including:
- Website and landing page graphics
- E-commerce content (Amazon, DTC, retailer PDPs, enhanced brand content)
- Paid and organic social media content
- Email marketing templates and campaigns
- Digital advertising assets (display, video thumbnails, animations, etc.)
- Optimize creative for performance, platform requirements, and evolving digital best practices
Campaign and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing to support campaign launches, new product introductions, and seasonal initiatives
- Present creative concepts and final work to internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Production and Execution
- Prepare final, production-ready files for digital platforms and vendors
- Ensure accuracy, quality control, and technical compliance across all deliverables
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and creative consistency
Product Packaging, Print and Integrated Content Execution
- Execute on-brand product packaging design and related print materials across personal care product lines, ensuring consistency with established brand standards and regulatory requirements
- Create production-ready print files, including dielines, mechanicals, and pre-production artwork for packaging and supporting materials
- Manage proofing processes, including review of digital and physical proofs, press checks, and collaboration with printers and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy
- Establish and maintain color standards across packaging and print executions, ensuring fidelity across substrates, finishes, and production runs
- Apply a strong understanding of print production workflows, materials, and finishing techniques to support premium brand execution
Video, Social, and Emerging Media
- Design and execute video and motion-based content to support digital campaigns, social media, and e-commerce initiatives
- Edit and produce short-form video content using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms, with a focus on performance-driven creative
- Leverage AI tools and software integrations to enhance creative workflows, improve efficiency, and support content ideation and production
- Develop platform-appropriate creative for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels, with a clear understanding of brand voice, format requirements, and audience behavior
- Collaborate with marketing and social teams to ensure the creative aligns with the channel strategy and campaign objectives
Trend Monitoring and Innovation
- Stay current on digital media, social, design, and content trends, including emerging platforms, formats, and creative best practices
- Apply trend insights thoughtfully and strategically to brand work, balancing innovation with brand consistency and commercial goals
- Proactively identify opportunities to evolve brand expression through new tools, formats, and creative approaches
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Commitment to maintaining and growing design, media, and technology knowledge, including staying current on consumer packaging, product, and digital design trends.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience in a fast-paced advertising, sales, or marketing environment
- At least 3 years of hands-on commercial execution experience, delivering consumer-facing creative across digital, print, and packaging channels
- Prior experience within consumer packaged goods (CPG) strongly preferred; experience in personal care, beauty, wellness, or illustration is a plus
- Demonstrated experience supporting brand campaigns, product launches, and e-commerce initiatives from concept through execution
Technical and Creative Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with video editing tools and motion-based content creation
- Working knowledge of video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro) and social media platforms for brand use, including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with cross-functional collaboration tools
- Photography and video background required, including content capture and post-production for digital and social channels
- Expert-level experience working on Mac hardware and software environments
On-site Work Requirement
- The Village Company has a company-wide hybrid work requirement. The team is on-site at our headquarters on Tuesday and Wednesday each week and has the option to work from home for the remaining three days.
