Key Responsibilities of the Senior GL Accountant:

• Maintain and manage multiple general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate coding and classification of financial transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries and supporting schedules
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and research discrepancies
• Assist with treasury and cash reporting, including monitoring cash balances and preparing internal reports
• Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
• Maintain financial data within Sage Intacct and support system-related reporting

Qualifications of the Senior GL Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred.
• 6+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• Experience working in a corporate accounting environment within professional services, asset management, or financial services
