IDEAL CANDIDATE
MINIMUM AND DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in GIS applications analysis, programming, and systems administration is required, including experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional GIS initiatives. Three years' experience with software systems currently used by the City, such as Accela Civic Platform, ePermitHub, New World ERP, Laserfiche, Active Net, Chameleon, Microsoft 365, MinuteTraq, Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, and MPulse is highly desired.

Technology Services is responsible for the centralized design, maintenance, security and support of the City’s communication infrastructure, computer network, telephone/radio systems, and applications to ensure the continued viability and sustainability of citywide technology assets, including computer hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, and audio/visual equipment.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants possessing the MOST DESIRABLE qualifications at each level, based on a screening of required application materials, including the completed Supplemental Questionnaire, will be invited to continue in the selection process. RECRUITMENT PROCESS: Human Resources (HR) reviews all application materials to determine whether candidates meet the established minimum and preferred qualifications once the position has closed. Eligible List: Once the appraisal is complete, HR will establish an eligible list of candidates. Candidates placed on the eligible list may be referred to a selection interview to be considered for present and future vacancies.
