Salary Range: $72,000 – $95,000 per year (Commensurate with experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our growing finance team in Littleton. This is a critical role responsible for working closely with the CFO to ensure the integrity of our financial records, from daily transaction coding to high-level month-end and year-end closing processes, alongside being a key partner in modernizing workflows and digitizing the finance functions.

What You’ll Do
Core Accounting: Manage all daily credits, debits, and journal entries. Ensure accurate posting for accruals and deferrals.
Reconciliations & Cash: Perform full general ledger and bank reconciliations. Oversee cash entries, receipts, and disbursements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Tax & Compliance: Handle Sales & Use Tax filings and Ad Valorem (property tax) assessments across multiple jurisdictions.
Commission Tracking: Calculate and verify commission structures to ensure accurate and timely payouts.
Cycle Management: Lead the Month-End and Year-End close processes, ensuring all accounts are balanced and deadlines are met.
What You Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree or greater in Accounting (Required).
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build financial models or automate recurring reporting.
Expertise: Solid understanding of GAAP, accrual-based accounting, and financial reporting standards.
Precision: An eagle eye for detail—you spot a reconciliation error before it becomes a headache.
Communication: The ability to translate complex financial data into clear reports for management.
