Get ready to take your career to new heights! We are on the hunt for a talented and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This is a permanent, full-time remote position that offers a unique opportunity to leverage your analytical skills and financial acumen to influence strategic decisions in our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Profit and Loss Statements, logistics, Supply Chain, ERP, Dynamics Great Plains, and Accruals. Responsibilities:
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts
- Performing variance analysis to understand trends in business performance
- Preparing and posting journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Managing and improving financial processes, including intercompany transactions and accruals
- Conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision making
- Utilizing ERP systems, specifically Dynamics Great Plains, to maintain financial records and generate reports
- Collaborating with the supply chain and logistics teams to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs
- Using advanced Excel and Hyperion to analyze and present financial data
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior FP&A Analyst role will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment
- Strong knowledge of Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Income Statements
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics Great Plains
- Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions for financial analysis
- Experience with Hyperion or similar financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to reconcile complex financials
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations, specifically fleet management.
