Our client, a leading organization in the technology and engineering sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Firmware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting multiple programs involving Linux system development, driver research & development, and technical issue resolution. Location:St. Paul, Minnesota
What's the Job?
- Support Linux system development, driver research, and troubleshooting across multiple engineering programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system interactions and driver behaviors.
- Assist with research, documentation, and development related to Ethernet and PCIe drivers.
- Coordinate with IT and networking teams to ensure lab network infrastructure remains operational and aligned with project needs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system interactions, driver behaviors, and workflows.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with C programming in a Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, system debugging, and custom Linux builds.
- Familiarity with CMake, XML schema, and Linux build environments.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Ethernet, PCIe, TCP/IP, and VLANs.
