Senior Fire Alarm Service & Inspection Technician (FAL Required)

A growing fire protection company in the DFW area is hiring a Senior Fire Alarm Service & Inspection Technician focused on service, diagnostics, and system troubleshooting.

We are looking for a seasoned, high-level technician who takes pride in their craft, can solve complex problems in the field, and operates with a high level of ownership and independence.

This is a technical, hands-on role — not a management track position.

What We’re Looking For

  • Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) – Required
  • 5+ years of hands-on fire alarm experience
  • Strong background in service, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Ability to program, diagnose, and repair multiple fire alarm systems
  • Experience with systems such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, EST, Bosch (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of NFPA codes and compliance
  • Proven ability to handle complex service calls independently

Plus Factors:
  • NICET Fire Alarm certifications
  • Experience with BDA / ERRCS systems

Role Expectations

  • Execute service calls, inspections, and repairs at a high level
  • Accurately diagnose issues and provide solutions confidently
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal team
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Handle emergency service and overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30–$40/hour based on experience
  • $40+/hour for top-tier candidates
  • Company vehicle + gas card
  • Discretionary annual bonuses
  • Performance-based incentives (in development)
