Savvee Inc. is seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support our federal client onsite in Alexandria, VA. In this role, you’ll drive Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) efforts across ASD(S) and ASD(EI&E), delivering cost assessments, budget justifications, and financial insights that shape mission-critical decisions. You’ll support RMD initiatives to streamline operations, enhance warfighter readiness, and improve financial systems. Essential Functions

  • Providing Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) support across ASD(S) and ASD(EI&E).
  • Delivering cost assessments, research, objective analysis, and conflict-free advice to support operational efficiency and strategic goals.
  • Supporting RMD efforts to reduce costs, infrastructure, and cycle times while enhancing support for 21st-century warfighters.
  • Executing specialized budget support, including proofreading and coordinating DoD documents, interpreting technical terminology, and communicating with non-technical personnel.
  • Assisting in the development of Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) and Budget Estimate Submission (BES), including change proposals and budget justification materials (e.g., R-Forms, P-Forms).
  • Establishing and monitoring metrics to evaluate program value.
  • Preparing financial and budgetary trend analysis reports and briefings for senior DoD leadership.
  • Monitoring program execution, including funding documentation, obligation/disbursement tracking, and expenditure reporting.
  • Supporting documentation for RDT&E Descriptive Summaries (R1–R4), Budget Issue Papers, and Program Decision Memorandum materials.
  • Participating in Mid-Year reviews and PPBE-related meetings.
  • Identifying and improving baseline financial processes and design target processes for cost-effective mission support.
  • Collaborating with information systems managers to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Developing briefings and generating reports/data calls on an as-needed basis.
  • Conducting research and reviewing resource management processes to support strategic planning for ASD(S) and ASD(EI&E).
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
