We are partnering with a growing cloud software organization is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support its FP&A function and multiple software business units. This role partners closely with senior leaders to improve financial performance, deliver insights, and support strategic planning across the business. The position has direct visibility to leadership and reports to a senior FP&A leader. You will play a key role in forecasting, reporting, and decision support for a recurring-revenue software environment.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, annual budgets, and long-range planning for assigned software business units
- Analyze and report on SaaS performance metrics, including ARR, MRR, retention, churn, margin, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and more.
- Prepare executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations with clear, actionable insights
- Perform detailed variance and trend analysis to identify business, operational, and market drivers
- Partner with functional and business leaders to support investment decisions, resource planning, and performance management
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to revenue, profitability, and customer lifecycle performance
- Support ad-hoc analyses, scenario modeling, and strategic initiatives, including growth and M&A-related projects
- Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, data quality, and reporting automation
- Review purchase requests and spending against approved budgets and provide first-level approval or escalation for unplanned spend
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive FP&A experience, with a track record of supporting senior leadership in a SaaS company
- Familiarity with SaaS models and metrics such as ARR/MRR, retention, churn, CAC, LTV, etc.
- Experience working in a private-equity backed environment is a plus
- Experience with payments is a plus
