Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Lansing, MI. Summary: We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a growing and evolving finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, apply advanced analytical skills, and contribute to forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment. This position follows a hybrid schedule, with three days onsite Tuesday-Thursday in the Lansing, MI area.   • Partner with business leaders to understand goals and develop financial plans that support revenue, cost, and margin targets
  • Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts and annual operating plans, identifying trends and key variances
  • Analyze financial data across pricing, incentives, cost centers, inventory, and logistics to uncover risks and opportunities
  • Create and present clear, compelling financial insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Build ROI and investment models or capital projects, new products, and operational improvements
  • Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Chain on strategic initiatives
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities as needed
  • Ensure financial data accuracy and consistency across reporting tools
  • Stay informed on market and industry trends to support sound business decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or a similar financial role, candidates with less experience may be considered at an associate level)
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex financial information
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel skills; Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, Power BI
  • High visibility and partnership with business leaders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
