We are searching for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities:Your Role:
The Senior Financial Analyst will have Accounting and Financial control of the manufacturing facility with the support of Corporate and the Plant Leadership Team. This position will interact with every facet of Operations, Engineering, Finance, Environmental, and Inventory Control. The Analyst will develop tools and information paths to share frequently, and on demand, to senior management, providing visibility to strategic changes in competitor/customer directions related to product sourcing and material shifts. You will have the opportunity to:
- Analyze and decide on capital investments
- Develop clear, highly visual means to convey complex or large data to senior management to guide strategic and tactical decisions.
- Analyze and decide on capital investments
- Support audit activities and establish best practices
- Prepare Annual Plan and forecasts for the business
- Evaluate economic returns/benefits continuous improvement projects
- Provide month-end analytical support and reporting
- Present performance results to leadership team
- Extract and transform raw data from various data sources into useful information to enable more effective strategic, tactical, and operational insights.
- Determine best methods to gather, model, manipulate, and present data while gathering business requirements and translating business questions into business requirements.
- Create and automate reports by established deadlines and on an ad-hoc basis.
- Develops strong business knowledge of the organization and processes to understand the application of data information to support the business.
- Develop working knowledge of world supply points of products that compete with Reynolds businesses and use this knowledge to anticipate and identify looming and growing competitive threats.

We need you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience with Reynolds Consumer product lines, or a similar CPG type organization.
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Project valuation/analysis skills to support/make decisions.
- Budgeting and Month-End analysis/reporting experience
- Proficient in MS Office.
- High proficiency in Excel, including ability to use array formulas, pivot tables and conduct financial modeling.
- Ability to correlate discrete pieces of data into a larger view to identify and describe trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization. Particularly, the ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
- Self-directed with the ability to work unsupervised as well as collaborate across all functional teams, including internationally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong level of intellectual curiosity, analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise patience and fortitude to identify, analyze and resolve problems logically and systematically.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
