About the Opportunity

A global, industry‑leading manufacturing company is seeking a high‑caliber Senior Financial Analyst to support its expanding financial operations. This organization offers strong international exposure, modern systems, and a fast‑paced environment. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in financial planning, operational analysis, SOX compliance, and cross‑functional support — including engagement with purchasing teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for delivering impactful financial insights across manufacturing, supply chain, and global finance. Manufacturing experience is an absolute must, as the Senior Financial Analyst will analyze production performance, cost drivers, and operational trends across multiple sites. This role will also have notable involvement in SOX compliance activities and require regular partnership with purchasing to evaluate supplier performance, spending, and cost structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis for manufacturing operations.
  • Partner closely with plant leadership to assess production performance, inventory levels, and cost drivers.
  • Support SOX compliance through testing, documentation, internal control reviews, and audit coordination as an experienced Senior Financial Analyst.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to analyze supplier spend, evaluate cost savings opportunities, and support sourcing decisions.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
  • Support budgeting and long‑range planning activities across domestic and international sites.
  • Assist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and operational commentary.
  • Serve as a proactive and strategic Senior Financial Analyst within both finance and operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar analytical role
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Strong understanding of cost structures, production metrics, and operational reporting
  • Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Exposure to purchasing or procurement analytics, supplier engagement, or spend analysis
  • ERP experience required; advanced Excel and BI tools strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and thrive in a complex, global environment

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • High‑visibility role within an international, growth‑oriented manufacturing organization
  • Opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to impact both operations and global finance
  • Engagement across multiple teams including plant operations, purchasing, and corporate finance
  • Modern systems, global exposure, and strong professional development pathways
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and long‑term career potential
