Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst provides comprehensive financial and analytical support across all areas of the business. This role plays a critical part in financial planning and helps drive operational efficiency through detailed reporting and analysis. Partners with senior leadership and departmental managers to monitor key performance indicators, assess financial results, and identify trends that support strategic decision-making and long-term business growth.

• Reviews both the balance sheet and cash flow statements. Conducts financial statement analysis with focus on operational performance trends within the P&L.
• Applies GAAP accounting practices to structure financial models and business valuations. Manages and develops standard monthly forecasting, variance analyses and financial reporting for management review.
• Ensures timely and precise analysis of monthly financial forecasts, strategic plans, and variances to key performance metrics. Identifies root causes, key business drivers, and optimizes asset deployment for maximum returns, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Identifies operational drivers that impact results, converting them into meaningful key performance indicators and making recommendations to improve results. Coordinates the development and presentation of the company’s annual financial budgets.
• Develops financial modeling and reporting systems to identify performance trends that increase and sustain profitability. Constructs ad hoc reports via various systems to analyze and minimize areas of waste and controllable costs. Conducts and documents financial analyses for ad hoc projects assigned by senior management.
• Actively engages in special projects, prepares presentations for senior management, and fulfills additional responsibilities as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated track record in a senior finance analyst role.

Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.

Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.

Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.

Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis.
