Qualifications of the Senior Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required
- Strong preference for an advanced degree
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis or FP&A experience within manufacturing
- Extensive experience in costing, inventory analysis, and operational finance
- Advanced Excel proficiency (modeling, scenario analysis, automation, advanced formulas)
- ERP experience within manufacturing environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to multiple departments
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and provide data-backed recommendations
Senior Financial Analyst Primary Responsibilities
- Lead costing analysis, including standard cost updates, variance review, and cost trend monitoring
- Oversee inventory reporting accuracy, valuation, and alignment with production data
- Serve as a key contributor and backup to month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and financial statements support
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and support internal control compliance
- Build and maintain advanced financial models for forecasting, scenario planning, and operational decision support
- Deliver clear, articulate reporting and financial insights to operations, supply chain, finance, and leadership
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and presentations used by cross-functional teams and executives
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency
- Support strategic initiatives, capital planning, cost-reduction opportunities, and operational projects through robust financial analysis
- Mentor and support junior financial team members

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 + Bonus potential
