Kforce's client, a publicly traded Financial Services company with beautiful new offices in Northern NJ, is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Manager. This company offers great benefits and a hybrid work schedule. Overview: We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our Financial Systems and Finance Operations function. This role is responsible for setting strategy, overseeing finance-related systems and projects, and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and internal controls. The position partners closely with accounting, IT, and cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across finance operations. Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team within the finance function, including oversight of staffing and resource planning
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of finance-related projects, including planning, execution, tracking, and communication of key milestones and performance metrics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (including IT) to support financial systems initiatives and ensure accurate processing and reporting of financial data
  • Establish, maintain, and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks (e.g., SOX/COSO)
  • Monitor and assess the control environment, including identifying gaps, driving remediation efforts, and escalating issues as needed
  • Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for areas of responsibility, and monitor performance against plan
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and system enhancements to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, analysis, and key performance indicators for leadership
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal, and reporting requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and/or financial systems
  • Prior management or leadership experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
