Senior Finance Analyst, Infrastructure, YouTube Finance

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with regularly presenting to executive management.
- Experience in spend management and budget planning cycles.
- Experience in infrastructure resource types and financial modeling.
- Experience building long-term relationships across organizational boundaries and collaborating effectively with all levels of seniority.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and people skills by taking charge, setting objectives, and driving results, while remaining organized and detail-oriented when navigating ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment.
- Excellent communication and people-management skills.

As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.Responsibilities
- Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles for infrastructure Operating Expenditure and Capital Expenditure. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast costs, identify risks and opportunities, and analyze sensitivities.
- Serve as the primary finance contact for YouTube's Infrastructure teams. Build relationships with technical leaders to understand their roadmaps, issues, and resource needs.
- Drive analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within infrastructure spending. Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to monitor resource utilization and cost trends.
- Deliver insightful monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis to business partners and Finance leadership. Communicate financial information and provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner on evaluating the financial impact of new technology investments, architectural changes, and vendor agreements. Develop Return on Investment and other financial models to support investment decisions.
