About the Position
The Senior Estimator’s primary role is to assist and support the Director of Estimating/ Sr. Preconstruction Manager in providing accurate and complete estimates and preconstruction services. The Senior Estimator’s role also includes assisting in the implementation and further refinement of the department processes, procedures, and technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Proficiently perform all duties as outlined in the Estimating Engineer and Estimator’s job descriptions
· Track and maintain current market cost data across all markets and scopes of work
· Lead the tracking and maintenance of internal historical cost data and metrics
· Assist in the research, creation, refinement, implementation, and management of department processes, procedures, and software improvements
· Supervise, train, and mentor other estimators
· Lead and assist in the training/ continuing education of estimating department members
· Assist in developing and tracking a strategy to increase diversity and small business participation
· Lead and perform value engineering
· Manage the Preconstruction process on assigned projects, as stated on the Preconstruction Manager Job Description
· Assist the preconstruction team in managing the project budget through preconstruction
· Interact, manage positive client, and design partner relationships
· Participate in RFP’s, project interviews and other project proposals requiring preconstruction
· Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted under appropriate circumstances.
· 8-10 years of commercial construction experience
· Demonstrated leadership, communication, time management, and organizational skills
· Demonstrated experience with alternative project delivery methods
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ability to effectively multitask
· Ability to lead effectively lead in a team setting
Compensation details: 145000-165000 Yearly Salary
