Senior Estimator - Environmental Services (34699)

Our client, a well-established engineering and construction organization, is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead estimating and proposal efforts for construction, design-build, and EPC projects. This role involves developing accurate, risk-informed estimates, guiding project teams, and presenting results to internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership and mentoring skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating strategy and manage implementation across diverse projects

• Review and approve project schedules and ensure timely completion of deliverables

• Conduct risk reviews and ensure compliance with estimating methodology

• Lead project team reviews of quantities, scope, and subcontractor bids

• Approve specialty and standard equipment pricing, bonds, and insurance quotes

• Present estimates to internal teams and external clients

• Maintain cost databases and ensure accuracy of assumptions, clarifications, and scope

• Mentor and train estimating staff to support professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (experience may substitute)

• Minimum 7 years of direct project estimating experience

• Strong analytical, creative, and decision-making skills

• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, ConEst, and K-base

• OSHA 10-hour certification required

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across project teams
