Client Details

My client is a commercial General Contractor in Detroit with a reputation for consistently excellent work and a fun team culture. They're currently growing at an exciting and sustainable pace and are looking for a Construction Estimator to help them win new business in a variety of different markets. They focus on a wide variety of disciplines including Commercial, Multi-Family.

Description

• Analyze construction blueprints and other documents to prepare time frames, costs, material, and labor estimates
• Prepare bid packages, development budgets, and analyze subcontractor bids for use in conceptual and bid proposal estimates
• Establish pricing and conduct comparison activities
• Work closely with construction project management team to maintain estimate throughout project
• Consult with vendors and internal project teams to resolve issues
• Establish and maintain strong subcontractor relationships

Profile

• 10 years+ as a commercial Construction Estimator
• Conceptual estimating experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Additional, relevant estimating experience will be considered
• Must have strong computer skills and be well versed in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Additional preference given if experienced in Microsoft Project, P6 Primavera, Cosential, On-Screen Takeoff
• Experience bidding valued at $3 million or more

Job Offer

• A generous compensation package between $120,000k- $170,000based on experience
