The Senior ERP Engineer – Oracle EBS Projects & Financials is responsible for the design, configuration, development, integration, and ongoing support of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) Projects and Financials modules. This role serves as a senior technical and functional expert within the ERP Applications team, ensuring system stability, financial integrity, and alignment with enterprise business processes.

Responsibilities:
ERP Application:
  • Act as the senior subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Projects and Financials.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and compliance with financial controls.
  • Provide production support and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support financial close processes including month-end and year-end activities.
  • Manage application enhancements, configuration, and regression testing.
Technical Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain RICE components, PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, custom concurrent programs, BI Publisher reports, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms.
  • Develop and support inbound/outbound integrations.
  • Perform data conversions, data fixes, and reconciliation activities.
  • Conduct performance tuning and SQL optimization.
  • Ensure seamless integration across various EBS modules including Projects, HR, Payroll, Accounting and Financial modules.
  • Upgrade, manage and support integrations with external systems such as Procore, Textura and Reporting platforms.
Functional Responsibilities: Support Oracle EBS R12 modules including but not limited to:
  • Oracle Projects Costing (PA)
  • Project Billing & Revenue Recognition
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management (CM)
  • Human Resources (HR)
  • Payroll (PA)
  • Support Auto Accounting, Subledger Accounting (SLA), and intercompany accounting.
  • Support project lifecycle accounting including costing, burdening, revenue generation, invoicing, and reconciliation to GL.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll and OPS-Finance teams to gather and document business requirements.
  • Ensure accurate project-to-financial integration and reporting.
Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with DBA, Infrastructure, Security, and integration teams to maintain ERP system health and compliance.
  • Participate in ERP roadmap planning and modernization initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers on platform best practices.
  • Participate in code and design reviews, and help implement and adhere to technical standards across IT.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Work with and help direct outside consultants to deliver project work.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience supporting Oracle EBS R12 and 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Projects and Financials modules.
  • Advanced SQL, PL/SQL development skills.
  • Experience with BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in project-driven industries (Construction, Engineering, Professional Services).
  • Exposure to Oracle Fusion Financials/Projects (migration planning experience a plus).
  • Exposure to Markview, reporting platform such as SplashBI.
