This Senior Engineer position is based in Opa-Locka, FL, where you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge vessels while helping lead engineering initiatives within a collaborative team environment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Engineer position include:
- 5–7 years of engineering management experience – Lead and support a team of engineers while coordinating day-to-day engineering activities and workflows.
- Strong CAD design experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar software – Develop and review engineering drawings, models, and design templates.
- Experience working on product design projects – Support the design and development of high-performance boats and related systems.
- Proven leadership and team collaboration skills – Mentor engineers, delegate responsibilities, and help guide projects to completion.
- Project management experience – Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Knowledge of fiberglass or composite materials and manufacturing processes – Support structural integrity and design feasibility.
- Familiarity with marine or mechanical systems integration – Work with cross-functional teams including production and manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills – Identify risks, troubleshoot technical challenges, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
