Our client, a leader in industrial services, is seeking an Electrician 4 to join their team. As an Electrician 4, you will be part of the Electrical Maintenance Department supporting the Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Senior Electrician
Pay rate: $28/hr
Location: Nashville, TN
What's the Job?
- Measure, cut, and bend wired and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
- Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, and reassemble equipment, using hand tools.
- Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and tighten connections, using hand tools.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience required.
- Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
