We are seeking a Permanent Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our client dynamic team. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the construction industry, specifically in the electrical field. As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring that all work is in compliance with electrical codes and standards. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of electrical projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and coordinate with internal teams and third-party contractors to ensure flawless execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
  • Utilize software such as Procore and Blue Beam to manage project details and documentation.
  • Prepare and present detailed electrical system design and project progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage project procurement, ensuring all materials and equipment are available when needed.
  • Handle project estimation and negotiation, ensuring the best quality at the most cost-effective price.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, and promote a culture of electrical safety within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements in construction and electrical systems, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Proven experience in managing large scale projects, preferably in healthcare and data center environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction procedures, and project management principles.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, such as Procore and Blue Beam.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful project estimation and procurement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • A strong commitment to electrical safety, with a deep understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
